Phone Etiquette

why do people talk loudly on the phone with their friends about bullshit, but then want to whisper when they are talking to their significant other (provided its not an argument)? stop that shit! its either all or nothing dammit. if i got to hear the dumb gossip about who said or did what to or about who then i should be granted the chance to hear about last night's romantic rendevou "wich ya boo." it's only fair.

Unisex lifestyles

Okay, this morning while riding the elevator I noticed this guy's bag. It was your basic man's shoulder bag, however it got me to thinking about some of the things I have seen lately. Shopping on the net, there was low rise jeans for men. Holding a conversation with a coworker he said real mean dont wear mocasins/loafers. Saw a picture of this guy and his girl where his hair was atleast 2-3 inches longer than hers and she had shoulder lenght hair. They have face creams from men. Men get manicures and pedicures. Men other than Prince with perms. Boxer shorts made for women. Women with tattoos covering their bodies. Depending on the time of day there are more women in home depot then men. We had snow a week ago and while driving to the store I saw more women shoveling driveways then men. I see more women wearing masculine styles and more men wearing (dare I say it...yes) feminine styles. Have the lines really blurred that much? I mean a man wearing a purse and a woman with a mohawk cut into her head? WTF? Next thing u know there will be a line of heels for men and a line of power tools for women (beyond ur basic pink hammer).

whats worst?

sitting in a staff meeting writing down the 50 states by abbreviation or not remembering all the damn states?

declining an invite to a party or accepting the invite only to try and find a reason not to go?

not knowing that only one ocean sits along east coast or asking the question in the first place? (someone once asked me what ocean sits along dewy beach in delaware then asks me what ocean sits along mrytle beach in south carolina. last i checked it was only one.)

eatting good food that looks nasty or eatting nasty food that looks good?

asking me a question and getting mad at my response or asking me a question u already know my response to but mad when i say what u already knew i was gonna say?

I GOT MY JACKET!!!

okay I have been oggling this jacket for months trying to resist the temptation to purchase it. well the sucker went on sale for 90 bucks which may not seem cheap but considering the regular price was 170, 90 was a major come up. i am so excited i am gonna wear this jacket EVERYWHERE!!!! its made of the softest leather in a peanut butter color with the cutest 3/4 bell sleeves. i love love love this jacket. the month of january was not nice to me but february is starting off on a high!!!!
